Don't miss these other books from Carole Thayne Warburton!

False Pretenses
Sunny Day hasn't been to church or had a church calling in over twenty-one years, and now Jack "Mormon" Heath is asking her to be Relief Society president of their small branch. It would take a miracle to make her worthy. And right now that is just what is needed, because a stranger's life desperately depends on her.
Meanwhile, Kelli Carson has tried to buy her deep feelings of guilt by living in a fundamentalist community. Now she has been chosen to marry a man she can never love, and who is already married to another. She knows she must escape--and take her new friend Mary Rachel with her. But where can they run?
At once engaging and suspenseful, False Pretenses is a story where every action has an equal reaction. Carole Thayne Warburton's vibrant characters and well-paced layering will have you looking for those extra minutes to read the next chapter.

Sun Tunnels and Secrets

Seventy-six year old Norma Weaver lives sixty miles away from nearest grocery store in the tiny town of Grouse Creek, Utah.  She is grieving the loss of her dear husband Wes when she decides to take a trip with her two sisters.  But a phone call from a desperate young woman asking to speak with her departed husband changes everything.  Then on the trip to the Sun Tunnels, a land art project in the nearby desert, Norma and her sisters stumble upon a naked dead man.  They cover him with the pillowcase that LaRue is embroidering for her granddaughter’s wedding and continue on, only to discover later that the body disappears pillowcase and all.
Meanwhile Tony Stratton, a young Montanan takes a job as a hired hand and horse trainer at the Box C ranch.  The job is just an excuse to be close to the enchanting Kelli Carson who has placed him in the “just friends,” category.  Tony is sure if she could really get to know him, she would feel for him the way he feels for her.  He is thinking about Kelli while training a gelding, when a man wearing only a delicately embroidered pillowcase holds him at gunpoint.  He thinks it’s all a joke until he’s left bound and gagged twenty miles from anywhere.
Just Shy of Paradise
Two stories are skillfully woven together in Just Shy of Paradise by Carole Thayne Warburton. First, there is a contemporary obstacle-filled romance. When Sky Brown meets Lily Anderson and they learn of connections their ancestors had in Cache Valley, Utah, he "even wonders if his ancestors had orchestrated events so he would meet her." Soon after their first encounter on the Blacksmith Fork River in Cache Valley, however, ownership of a one-of-a-kind fly fishing rod comes into question, and becomes a symbol that will challenge their developing trust and cause them to question each other and their own belief systems.
